Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Senior Accountant is essential for ensuring precise and timely financial reporting while upholding the integrity of IMS’ accounting functions.

• A key player in the monthly closing process, responsible for journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger.

• Collaborates closely with Accounts Payable and various cross-functional teams, supports audit processes, and contributes to enhancements and integration activities related to acquired entities.

• Detail-oriented, deadline-focused, and takes full ownership of accounting processes from inception to completion.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and communicates effectively across different teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• 4–6 years of pertinent accounting experience.

• Experience in a law firm or consulting setting is advantageous.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Familiarity with Intacct or similar accounting software is preferred.

• Strong understanding of GAAP principles.

• CPA certification or progress towards it is preferred but not mandatory.
