Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assist in the preparation of standard journal entries and manage the closing calendar to ensure adherence to reporting deadlines.

• Aid in the reconciliation of all month-end balance sheet accounts, prioritizing specific reconciliations that must be finalized within the monthly closing period.

• Conduct thorough analyses of various general ledger accounts and designated cost centers, as assigned.

• Evaluate General Ledger activities for precision, completeness, and reasonableness, interpreting trends or anomalies and recommending corrective actions.

• Execute bank and reporting uploads on a weekly basis.

• Provide support for various Accounting and cross-functional projects as needed.

• Compile monthly closing reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy (BSA) is required.

• Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in US accounting is required.

• Experience with multiple clients and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities is essential.

• Familiarity with various software solutions is necessary.

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to respond to and fulfill client requests promptly and professionally.

• Ability to identify and safeguard confidential and sensitive information, exercising strict discretion when sharing or disseminating information.

• Capability to manage multiple clients and responsibilities effectively.

• Exceptional time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Adaptable and able to shift focus when priorities change.

• Proactive in anticipating needs and taking initiative.

• Proficient in working within a fully remote environment.
