This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Accountable for devising and driving sales growth strategies for the RMS Urethane Additives division in the North American market.
• Achieve all sales objectives, promote profitable expansion, and secure new customer acquisitions.
• Establish and promote behaviors, metrics, and goals essential for success.
• Propel new business development efforts in the North American region to meet or surpass set targets.
• Oversee and collaborate with direct accounts and authorized distributors of North American Urethane Additives for sales activities, including training sessions, market intelligence, and customer engagements.
• Collaborate with the Marketing and R&D teams to address customers' technical requirements.
• Identify opportunities for business growth, potential risks, and strategic direction.
• Manage performance metrics such as forecasting, volume, revenue, target closures, and new product introductions (NPI).
• Work closely with clients to comprehend technical applications and advocate for the appropriate Urethane Additive products for both new and ongoing programs.
• Prepare and deliver sales reports and account plans as needed, utilizing Momentive systems including SAP, Arkieva (Forecast tool), and SFA.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of products, applications, and processing methods.
• Cultivate relationships with R&D, Procurement, and other relevant departments.
• Formulate Business Strategies aimed at fostering sustainable growth.
• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Over 10 years of commercial sales experience in a chemical-related industry, including technical service or business development roles.
• Experience in managing strategic and global accounts.
• Proven project management capabilities with a history of delivering high-quality results on time.
• Exceptional presentation skills with the capacity to clarify complex concepts, including support for New Product Introductions (NPI).
• Strong analytical and lateral-thinking skills, capable of leveraging insights across various markets and segments.
• Demonstrated ability to encourage cross-functional collaboration and implement organizational change.
• Effective decision-making and time management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to navigate within a matrix organization.
• Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Quick learner of new software systems, including Arkieva.
• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with ERP systems or Salesforce.
• Must be prepared to travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes.
