This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.
• Develop, implement, and communicate the J&J Orthopaedic strategy in collaboration with FSO, Offer Development, Commercial Operations, and SourceView partners.
• Implement strategies aimed at achieving market-leading profitable revenue growth by securing competitive conversions, enhancing pricing performance, and safeguarding core business while ensuring optimal use of limited company resources (price, inventory, and personnel).
• Establish benchmarks for maximizing revenue and minimizing service costs across the market.
• Cultivate and expand customer relationships to transition from transactional interactions to strategic partnerships that thrive on executing strategies that deliver mutual value.
• Build sustainable strategic relationships with key stakeholders at customer sites within their specific market, serving as the primary Orthopaedic point of contact.
• LEAD and DELIVER on leveraging data to formulate a customer strategy that yields significant business outcomes for them, which in turn drives strong results for J&J MedTech.
• LEAD and DELIVER on using data to shape sales strategy within the AD’s particular market.
• CONNECT customers to shared services resources (Contract Management, Delivery, Commercial Operations, Field Sales Network, HEMA, etc.)
• Create Orthopaedic market-specific strategies to expedite the achievement of profitable performance metrics (e.g., revenue growth, enhanced price performance, introduction of new products & technology, managing erosion, controlling inventory spending, etc.).
• Facilitate a collaborative process with Field Sales leadership to ensure the market-based strategy aligns with the priorities and objectives of Orthopaedic leadership.
• Oversee account performance by tracking orthopedic contract compliance and performance, as well as conducting regular business reviews with key customers to assess outcomes.
• Accountable for growth in targeted product categories and new products as defined by the J&J Medtech Orthopaedics business plans.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with market-based economic decision-makers, including Supply Chain, Value Analysis Committees, Peri-Operative Services, Service Line Leaders, etc.
• Assist the AVP, Account Management in developing an industry-leading account management capability focused on the expanding outpatient channel.
• Attain a comprehensive understanding of the complete range of J&J Medtech Orthopaedics products and offerings, strategies, and business objectives, particularly in digital and robotics.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant business experience required.
• At least 5 years of experience in a highly regulated clinical environment required.
• MedTech experience is essential, with a strong preference for orthopedic and/or capital experience, particularly in a multi-platform setting.
• Demonstrated experience in strong business acumen, contract negotiation, deal orchestration from inception, communication skills, and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Capability to thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• 30%-50% travel required; must reside within the specified market.
