This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of and lead the entire sales process from initial contact to closure with our Commercial, State, and Local Government Accounts.
• Conduct product demonstrations for interested clients using screen sharing and video conferencing tools.
• Foster authentic relationships and establish genuine rapport with potential clients and existing accounts.
• Exhibit strong qualification skills to deliver precise forecasting reports to management regarding opportunities as necessary.
• Leverage experience in maneuvering through sales cycles to drive deals to completion, identifying key decision-makers and business influencers.
• Stay informed about new product launches to maximize opportunities within the prospect and account base.
• Utilize comprehensive knowledge of all MixMode solutions to meet customers' business needs.
• Employ robust industry-technical knowledge, consultative selling techniques, and expertise in managing large accounts to secure deals.
• Maintain a solid understanding of key competitors and how the company's products compare to theirs.
• Proactively cultivate and oversee multiple deals while concentrating on closing those with a high probability of success.
• Implement a consultative sales approach throughout an extended sales cycle to consistently meet or exceed targets.
• Demonstrate the capability to represent MixMode at all levels of an account’s management team.
• Travel as needed to develop and nurture relationships with key customer contacts, effectively present and clarify value propositions, and secure business within expected timelines.
• Adhere to company policies and sales procedures throughout the sales cycle, including providing timely and accurate updates in the Salesforce system.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 7+ years of relevant experience, encompassing senior sales leadership roles, managing high-performing sales and technical sales teams, coaching on solution sales, and account development strategies, or leadership roles in large multi-tiered organizations, or equivalent experience.
• Proven and successful sales experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Experience in selling enterprise cybersecurity solutions and data or subscription software; experience with digital products and display advertising is a plus.
• Strong critical thinking skills, with an introspective mindset and a desire for continuous improvement.
• Hunter mentality; must enjoy prospecting and building one's own pipeline.
• Coachable – willing to receive feedback and implement learnings from colleagues and managers.
• Demonstrated success in developing prospecting lists, achieving quotas, and retaining customers.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and through email with clients, along with a successful track record of meeting and/or exceeding quotas.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to prioritize while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the capability to sell effectively.
