Senior ABAP Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Accountable for analyzing, estimating, developing, documenting, and testing ABAP customization and development requests within the SAP ERP S/4HANA system.

• Identify, specify, estimate, implement, document, and provide support for technical enhancements in the SAP ERP S/4HANA system, collaborating with business areas to support process improvements.

• Oversee support requests for specialized external IT resources.

• Aid in the execution of technology projects by assisting with requirements gathering, RFPs, tool and vendor assessments, business case preparation, technical support, and project follow-up.

• Assess the relevance of emerging technology trends and keep an eye on the market with an emphasis on innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to technology.

• Experience with integrations to legacy systems utilizing IDoc and web services.

• Familiarity with maintaining RFCs.

• Proficient in ABAP Object-Oriented (ABAP OO) development.

• Understanding of post-release 750 enhancements.

• Knowledge of development best practices and techniques for performance improvement.

• ABAP for HANA (HA400) training or certification is an advantage.

• Experience in UI5 / Fiori platform development is a plus.

• SAP ABAP certification is an asset.

• Experience in the retail sector (IS-Retail) is beneficial.
