Senior 3D Environment Artist

📋 Description

• Work closely with the 3D Art team to design landscapes, environments, and models.

• Utilize proprietary terrain systems to craft landscapes.

• Develop models and set dress landscapes to enhance narrative and gameplay.

• Establish environmental lighting and atmosphere for both new and existing levels.

• Create environmental effects such as particles, god rays, fog, and more.

• Collaborate with technical artists to develop custom shaders.

• Partner with project leads, concept artists, and designers.

• Generate ideas and produce rapid prototypes during the conceptual phase.

• Assist the modeling team in creating cosmetic and level content.

• Provide support to other departments on environmental or modeling tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in the gaming industry.

• Proficient in modeling using Maya or a similar tool.

• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and color theory.

• Self-driven, humble, and an effective team player.

• Open to feedback and skilled in accepting criticism.

• Enthusiastic about creating distinct and innovative 3D visuals.

• A dedicated Sky player (Nice to Haves).

• Capability to design gameplay levels and spaces (Nice to Haves).

• Familiarity with ancient civilizations and cultures (Nice to Haves).

• A passion for games, particularly those akin to Flower, Journey, or Sky! (Nice to Haves).
