This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Lead a talented 3D art team throughout the game development process.
• Work closely with the Art Director and Creative Director.
• Document and streamline the art pipeline and workflows for the project.
• Create artistic assets and materials, including characters, props, and environments.
• Engage in brainstorming sessions and worldbuilding activities.
• Ensure that art assets adhere to real-time rendering performance standards.
• Research and innovate new techniques.
• Mentor and guide less experienced artists.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to produce high-quality products.
• Assist the project manager in planning and managing team workloads.
• Communicate and reinforce management decisions and messages effectively.
• Over 5 years of experience in team coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to create original 3D content utilizing modeling, UV mapping, texturing, shaders, and lighting techniques.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, perspective, and volume.
• Comprehensive knowledge of color, lighting, atmosphere, and overall composition.
• Proficient with CGI production software such as Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop.
• Extensive experience with the Unity engine.
• Familiarity with modern UV mapping techniques (trim sheets, atlasing, etc.).
• Strong artistic skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively prioritize tasks.
• Eagerness to learn new tools and skills.
• Work on groundbreaking, immersive, narrative-driven XR experiences.
