Senior 3D & AI Systems Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Play a pivotal role in backend development for 3D AutoReview functionalities, covering everything from pipeline architecture to production delivery.

• Engage in experiments involving geometry parsing, quality detection, and context generation for the review of 3D models.

• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and product teams to ensure the rapid delivery of impactful features with a focus on quality and cross-functional harmony.

• Work closely with ML teams to embed intelligence into the 3D review workflow.

• Create flexible systems for custom rule formulation and reference data within 3D AutoReview.

• Assist in establishing and upholding high technical standards throughout the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend development, preferably in a product or platform environment.

• Strong understanding of 3D mathematics, along with practical experience in graphics engines, CAD kernels (such as HOOPS, OpenCascade, Parasolid), robotics, and 3D simulations.

• Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable backend systems and APIs.

• Experience with various data storage paradigms, including SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases.

• Familiarity with ML/AI/LLM concepts and their application in production settings.

• Knowledge of 3D model ML pipelines (e.g., feature extraction, embedding generation, model training, or inference).

• Understanding of agentic workflows (e.g., pydantic-ai).

• Experience in integrating and prompting large language models (LLMs) through APIs (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini).

• Proficiency in ML frameworks like PyTorch, Hugging Face, or Scikit-learn.

• Experience deploying ML services on cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, etc.).

• Capable of tackling ambiguous or loosely defined technical challenges.

• Excellent communication skills—able to clearly convey technical issues and solutions.

• Familiarity with CAD modeling software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or OnShape is a significant advantage.

• Experience with mechanical engineering principles is a strong plus.
