Semi Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Preparation of year-end financial statements for small UK limited companies

• Operating in compliance with FRS 102 (Section 1A)

• Recording year-end journals and adjustments in Xero

• Assisting with the preparation of working papers and files for review

• Supporting the Accounts & Tax Manager in delivering client services

• Coordinating with the UK team to ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in preparing accounts for UK limited companies

• Solid understanding of FRS 102 (Section 1A)

• Exceptional attention to detail and capability to meet deadlines

• Comfortable working remotely as a member of a UK-based team

• Familiarity with UK corporation tax (Desirable; Not Essential)

• Prior experience in a UK accountancy practice (Desirable; Not Essential)

• Proficient in using Xero (highly beneficial)
