Security Operations Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Enhance DEUNA's security framework as we expand our global payments platform.

• Develop and manage contemporary cloud security capabilities that safeguard millions of payment transactions.

• Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Engineering, Compliance, and Product teams to elevate security maturity.

• Oversee security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response protocols.

• Construct and consistently refine SIEM, detection rules, alerting mechanisms, and security automation.

• Lead efforts in vulnerability management, remediation tracking, and risk prioritization.

• Propel cloud security initiatives across AWS, Kubernetes, containers, IAM, networking, and secrets management.

• Administer endpoint security, identity security, privileged access management, and access review processes.

• Organize external penetration tests, red team exercises, and security evaluations.

• Create security metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting structures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in Cybersecurity, with a minimum of 3 years leading Security Operations or Security Engineering teams.

• Extensive experience securing cloud-native environments, ideally AWS.

• Practical experience with SIEM platforms (Wazuh, Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, Elastic, or similar).

• Proficient with EDR solutions such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, or comparable technologies.

• In-depth knowledge of Identity and Access Management, Zero Trust principles, and privileged access controls.

• Strong expertise in vulnerability management, CVE prioritization, and remediation programs.

• Experience in leading security incident response and forensic investigations.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD security practices.

• Experience in supporting compliance programs including PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, or similar regulatory frameworks.

• Outstanding communication skills with both technical and executive stakeholders.
