Security Guard

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Puerto Rico.

📋 Description

• Executes onsite security operations to safeguard the well-being of both staff and customers within the center.

• Adheres to and enforces security protocols regarding building accessibility and related tasks (including the maintenance of visitor logs and sign-in and sign-out procedures).

• Observes the facility and proposes enhancements for security measures.

• Implements escalation protocols for security threats or issues, which includes evacuation procedures.

• Complies with security guidelines and offers suggestions to management for improvements.

• Reports any security breaches promptly.

• Engages in the organization of fire drills and mock evacuation exercises.

• Performs regular physical inspections of the facility and reports any security or safety concerns to the supervisor.

• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a High School Diploma or its equivalent.

• Successful completion of a 47-hour security guard training program.

• Registered Security Guard with the Division of Licensing Services or currently serving as an active police officer.

• A minimum of three years of experience in the role of a security guard.

• Training and experience in the use of electronic monitoring systems.
