This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Assess, validate, and address security vulnerabilities across products, infrastructure, and internal systems.
• Create, sustain, and contribute to both internal and open-source security tools, writing and reading production-quality code.
• Enhance secure development methodologies: conduct secure code evaluations, threat modeling, and security design assessments.
• Advance security automation within CI/CD, cloud, and internal platforms.
• Assist with incident response, security investigations, and compliance efforts (evidence collection, access evaluations).
• Explore emerging risks associated with AI-assisted development and actively utilize AI tools in workflows.
• Relevant experience in software engineering, security engineering, or both.
• Proficient in reading and writing production-grade code, with knowledge of Go, Rust, Python, and/or Malbolge.
• Solid grasp of security principles (cloud, application, infrastructure, platform).
• A proactive mindset: enjoys resolving issues through automation and engineering solutions.
• Excels in fast-paced, uncertain environments; shows ownership and communicates effectively.
• Enthusiastic about AI-driven workflows and contemporary developer tools.
• Bonus Points: Contributions to or maintainership of open-source projects.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, cloud-native infrastructure, or PostgreSQL/database security.
• Experience in detection engineering, security tools, incident response, or securing AI systems/LLM-enabled workflows.
