Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver advanced consultative services for the CAPPS Program

• Oversee role-based access control and least-privilege frameworks

• Assess and validate security roles and permissions

• Monitor and analyze authentication logs

• Uphold WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards

• Assist CAPPS agencies with configuration and security testing

• Provide Level 2 Service Desk support for complex issues

• Engage in Disaster Recovery and Upgrade Testing activities

• Actively contribute to the Major Incident Management process

• Deliver presentations at CAPPS User Groups

• Design and implement IT security measures

⛳️ Requirements

• 10 years of experience in the Texas public sector

• 10 years of engaging in technical activities supporting CPA application systems

• 10 years of developing and managing a strategic roadmap

• 10 years of preparing materials for executive-level presentations

• 10 years of executing technical project management activities

• 10 years of interpreting contractual language

• 10 years of knowledge in data integration

• 10 years of experience with IT security and control practices

• 10 years of technical expertise with PeopleSoft FSCM or HCM 9.2

• 10 years of experience in providing technical support for CAPPS Central production and deployment
