Section 508 Accessibility, Content Management Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform Section 508 evaluations

• Revise electronic documents for compliance

• Assist with updates to websites

• Uphold content governance protocols

• Offer recommendations for accessibility improvements

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with Section 508

• Proven experience in remediating: PDF files, Word documents, and PowerPoint slides

• Background in conducting accessibility assessments

• Knowledge of WCAG standards

• Experience in supporting Federal websites

• Preferred familiarity with SharePoint

• Preferred experience with USDA

• Accessibility certifications are a plus

• Preferred experience in content management
