This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and direct Cybersight’s worldwide digital learning strategy to ensure it aligns with Orbis’s organizational priorities as well as global eye health and capacity-building objectives.
• Design and manage a comprehensive, end-to-end learning ecosystem that integrates courses, mentorship, clinical training, and knowledge resources.
• Lead the transition towards scalable, personalized, and competency-based learning models that cater to diverse global contexts.
• Ensure that digital learning is integrated with platform functionalities, clinical programs, and implementation at the country level.
• Oversee the entire Cybersight learning portfolio, ensuring it aligns with global clinical priorities and addresses emerging learning needs.
• Establish and uphold organization-wide standards for instructional design, content quality, and course lifecycle management.
• Offer expert guidance on digital and medical education strategies, incorporating best practices from various disciplines.
• Engage and influence clinical experts, academic institutions, and partners to collaboratively develop impactful learning content.
• Spearhead the implementation of Cybersight’s CPD framework and global learning pathways.
• Build and sustain partnerships with accreditation bodies and professional organizations to enhance recognition and adoption.
• Ensure that learning aligns with recognized workforce development needs and long-term professional competency frameworks.
• Refine and implement global localization strategies to guarantee equitable access across languages, regions, and resource settings.
• Ensure that learning content is culturally relevant, accessible, and aligned with the needs of users and programs in diverse LMIC contexts.
• Define and execute frameworks for assessing learning impact.
• Lead the analysis of complex, multi-source data to guide strategic decisions and continuous improvement in both learning content and user experience.
• Foster innovation in digital learning models, including the piloting and scaling of new approaches.
• Advanced degree in education, public health, global health, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience leading in one or more of the following areas: digital learning or education platforms, medical or professional education, large-scale training or capacity-building programs.
• Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven track record in designing and scaling learning systems across multiple countries or institutions.
• Experience with professional development or CPD programs.
• Background in clinical or health professional training; experience in ophthalmology is a plus.
• Experience working within global or LMIC health programs.
