This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.
• Provide operational assistance for SecOps tool alerts, triaging, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the SecOps team and other stakeholders to test and identify vulnerabilities.
• Aid in the investigation of cybersecurity incidents and inquiries.
• Monitor email and the ticketing system for security-related concerns, ensuring resolution.
• Troubleshoot issues with tools and infrastructure managed by the SecOps team, both on-premise and cloud-based.
• Support the creation of documentation for SOPs, playbooks, and walkthroughs.
• Keep informed about adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), as well as security-related events and news.
• Ensure optimal performance and the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IT and operational infrastructure.
• Document, monitor, and report on security-related systems and processes.
• Evaluate, test, maintain, and challenge security solutions.
• Work with IT and Systems teams on hardening and configuration management.
• Analyze transactional data, log files, and system outputs to detect malicious or anomalous activity.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
• Expertise in system security engineering or information security engineering.
• Experience in building and maintaining internal and external systems.
• Knowledge of operating system security across various platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud security, networking technologies, and monitoring tools.
• Practical experience in multi-cloud service environments.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, Elastic, OKTA, IDM, AD, JAMF, Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Experience in responding to security incidents and conducting log analysis.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT/System teams within a SaaS/cloud organization.
• Experience in establishing procedures, reports, SLAs, and escalations.
• Ability to perform under pressure in dynamic environments.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective leadership capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, attention-to-detail, communication, and task-prioritization skills.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of Python or Go is a significant advantage.
• Valid CompTIA CySA+ Certificate.
• Availability to support during US hours.
• Willingness to be part of on-call duties.
