This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Team and Program Management: Anticipate and report subscription bookings associated with SEAP activities, collaborating closely with the sales team.
• Consolidate analytics and reporting to assist sales consultations on account selection strategies for SEAP engagement.
• Manage relationships with third-party partners engaged for customer reviews and program consultations.
• Act as the main escalation point for negotiating and resolving compliance issues identified by SEAP.
• Sales and Negotiation: Recognize, motivate, and direct subscription bookings related to both direct and indirect engagement of Sales Teams.
• Lead intricate negotiations with clients to secure favorable subscription terms, pricing, and conditions.
• Identify new opportunities and negotiate agreements that align with business goals and licensing models, enhancing client relationships.
• Compliance and Asset Management: Offer strategic counsel to internal stakeholders concerning licensing models and modifications to align with business objectives.
• Advisory and Strategy: Oversee the deployment and renewal of subscription licenses, ensuring appropriate subscriptions are established and the underlying terms and reporting requirements are comprehended.
• Collaborate with the Legal team to tailor and revise order forms and contracts pertaining to SEAP provisions.
• Monitor subscription usage to ensure compliance with licensing terms, maintaining alignment with contractual obligations to prevent penalties.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in OpenSource/SaaS/software sales, program management, or software license compliance.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, though not mandatory.
• A combined background in direct selling of services and subscriptions; familiarity with renewals and consumption-based business models.
• Ability to articulate and comprehend contract language.
• Experience supporting initiatives to manage and track software/subscription usage.
• Expertise in managing subscription compliance and entitlement validation.
• Proven capability to interpret data sets to identify discrepancies in subscriptions.
• Experience in creating, interpreting, and reviewing detailed compliance and entitlement reports.
• Skill in identifying and mitigating compliance risks within assigned accounts.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities; outstanding presentation skills.
• Strong business insight, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply a quantitative approach to program management.
• Solid understanding of financial and operational value drivers in OpenSource business models; analytical and process-oriented mindset.
• Comprehension of how compliance affects revenue and renewal cycles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, partners, product management, and legal teams.
• Proficiency in preparing and delivering subscription messaging.
• Experience in developing materials to support compliance education.
