Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as PI Planning, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, demos, and other related activities.

• Eliminate obstacles, manage risks and dependencies, and coordinate resolution efforts among teams and stakeholders.

• Promote collaboration, transparency, and a culture of continuous improvement across cross-functional Agile development teams.

• Assist with backlog prioritization, sprint execution, delivery tracking, and ensuring follow-through on commitments and action items.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, engineers, leadership, and government personnel to maintain alignment in delivery and operational readiness.

• Monitor Agile metrics, provide updates on delivery progress, and support documentation, reporting, and program readiness activities.

• Accept additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support team objectives and guarantee the project's success.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience leading Agile software development teams in complex technical settings.

• Strong familiarity with SAFe methodologies, Agile delivery practices, and automated application deployments.

• Proven track record in supporting large-scale software development, integration, and data management initiatives.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in facilitating executive briefings, managing delivery risks, and supporting cross-functional technical teams.

• Highly detail-oriented with robust documentation and coordination skills.

• Capability to obtain a Government clearance.

• SAFe Certified Scrum Master (SSM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or a comparable Agile certification is preferred.

• Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) environment, tools, processes, and frameworks is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Agile and configuration management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub is preferred.

• A technical background or experience in supporting engineering-led delivery teams is highly desirable.

• Experience in supporting healthcare or federal government technology initiatives is a plus.

• Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD practices, and Agile reporting metrics is beneficial.
