Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Serve as an Agile coach, providing mentorship and training to engineering team members on best practices.

• Cultivate a self-organizing, high-performance team culture through effective facilitation and coaching.

• Assist teams in writing, splitting, and sizing sprints to optimize efficiency.

• Recognize impediments and dependencies, proactively addressing them for resolution.

• Lead team retrospectives and promote initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Support and mentor junior team members, offering constructive feedback on their growth and development.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business value and outline project scope.

• Manage vendor relationships to ensure alignment with business objectives and delivery schedules.

• Plan project phases, allocate resources, and manage internal/external dependencies.

• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to facilitate smooth project execution.

• Oversee sprint execution, manage changes in scope, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

• Ensure that vendor deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

• Actively engage in procurement and contract negotiations.

• Provide clear and timely updates on project progress through daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

• Communicate obstacles, dependencies, and risks to relevant stakeholders.

• Gather feedback to enhance planning, execution, and team satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).

• 8-10 years of experience in project management and Agile execution.

• Over 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master, leading multiple teams of more than 10 members.

• Strong foundation in technology and the software development lifecycle.

• Exceptional leadership and relationship-building abilities.

• Hands-on approach, capable of functioning both as a leader and an individual contributor.

• Experience delivering complex digital projects in fast-paced environments.

• E-commerce industry experience is advantageous.

• Hands-on development experience is a plus.
