Script Writer – Minecraft YouTube

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Storyboard Creation: Develop entertaining and engaging storyboards for Minecraft videos that feature two or more characters, combining elements of competition with positive social, creative, and academic skills and values.

• Analysis of YouTube Metrics: Evaluate essential YouTube metrics and analytics such as AVD, CTR, Impressions, and AVP to pinpoint successful content features and areas needing enhancement, guiding the development of storyboards.

• Competitor Research and Strategy Application: Investigate and replicate successful narrative techniques, styles, and strategies utilized by competitors, incorporating effective methods into storyboard development to boost audience interaction.

• Incorporation of Feedback: Skillfully integrate and adapt feedback from supervisors into the storyboard writing process, ensuring alignment with project goals and vision.

• Familiarity with Script Components: Employ key elements of effective YouTube scripts, including Core Objective, Hook, Context, and Twists, to craft compelling narratives that engage viewers.

• Guidance for Production Team: Offer clear instructions for Set Designers, Animators, Editors, and Actors through scripts and storyboards, directing them to effectively realize the intended content.

• Management of Deadlines and Organization: Comply with project timelines and maintain organizational systems to ensure the timely completion of storyboard tasks, enabling smooth project flow.

• Participation in Meetings: Engage in meetings to discuss storyboard developments, provide updates, and collaborate with team members to refine concepts and address any issues or challenges.

• Incorporation of Children's Trends and Pop-Culture: Weave current children's trends and pop-culture references into the writing to maintain relevance and engagement with the target demographic.

• Emulate and enhance the existing style of competitors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of writing experience with a solid understanding of YouTube Analytics and key metrics (AVD, CTR, Impressions, etc.)

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.

• Capability to meet and grasp deadlines effectively.

• Ability to comprehend feedback and act upon it appropriately.

• Knowledge of Minecraft, social media, and current pop-culture trends.

• Basic experience and understanding of Minecraft mechanics and modding.
