Script Writer – Kannada

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop engaging short-form scripts (under 60 seconds) that showcase a robust storytelling flow.

• Convert content between Regional Language and English, and vice versa.

• Create sharp, captivating hooks to enhance audience engagement and retention.

• Design content tailored for various platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and more.

• Evaluate advertising metrics (CTR, watch time, drop-off rates) to optimize creative strategies.

• Work collaboratively with video editors, designers, and creative strategists to realize ideas.

• Transform copy concepts into compelling visual narratives and powerful storytelling sequences.

• Recognize and adapt to new content and creative trends as they emerge.

• Distill complex concepts into relatable and emotionally impactful content.

• Regularly consume a variety of content (books, short films, ads) to broaden creative vocabulary and visual understanding.

• Offer creative insights during production to maintain content quality and ensure tone consistency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in any field.

• 1–3 years of experience in content writing, scriptwriting, or copywriting, preferably within digital or video content.

• Demonstrated ability to craft short-form content with a solid storytelling framework.

• Proficient in both Regional Language and English, with strong writing and speaking skills.

• In-depth understanding of Indian audiences and cultural subtleties.

• Knowledge of digital metrics and performance-driven storytelling techniques.

• Must have a personal laptop to carry out daily tasks effectively.
