This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Create engaging, audience-focused marketing messages that inspire action to promote our services and products.
• Assist in the marketing efforts of new program and product launches, including enhancing sales and service enablement activities.
• Identify and produce collateral materials with compelling narratives that inform and engage our audiences.
• Develop clear and motivating messages customized for various audiences, including colleges, students, and their supporters.
• Applicants must reside in the United States.
• Must be willing to travel for the biannual Common App Retreat.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience in creating personalized materials and resources (e.g., email campaigns, sales enablement tools, lead generation collateral).
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms, digital publishing tools, and Google Suite.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to translate complex concepts into engaging content.
• Exceptional writing skills that drive action: Expertise in audience-targeted content creation with the capacity to clearly convey product releases, services, and product engagement through motivating written material.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities: Capacity to evaluate engagement metrics, audience research, and feedback to gain a profound understanding of targeted audience challenges, priorities, and needs.
• Excellent project coordination skills: Ability to manage multiple deadlines and independently meet the needs of diverse stakeholders.
• Technical proficiency in marketing and communications tools: Proven ability to use email marketing platforms and digital publishing tools for producing and distributing targeted outreach.
• Effective collaboration and peer guidance: Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment while providing guidance or peer-review support to ensure departmental alignment.
