Scribe – Real-time Text Corrector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Scribes operate remotely, collaborating with AI-generated text to accurately transcribe captions for Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) users in real-time.

• They consistently arrive on time for our assignments and exhibit excellent communication skills and responsiveness.

• They are adaptable and genuinely enthusiastic about contributing to a better world.

⛳️ Requirements

• A CODA is strongly preferred, or candidates should possess experience with spoken deaf accents.

• Candidates must demonstrate a robust ability to understand various spoken English accents.

• Experience with ASL or different deaf dialects is preferred.

• Ideally, candidates should have a background in helping professions with close ties to the DHH community.
