This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide scientific guidance, leadership, and oversight for all projects associated with their accounts.
• Identify, analyze, and distill intricate scientific data to produce impactful scientific publications, effective educational resources, and/or innovative brand strategies as required by their client(s).
• Comprehend the scientific and clinical dimensions of assigned client work, acting as a vital, strategic thought partner for both clients and internal teams.
• Direct all activities concerning scientific strategies and publication planning, including the oversight of scientifically complex materials.
• Act as a subject matter authority on the scientific and clinical facets of client projects and deliverables.
• Facilitate ongoing training for team members.
• Continuously propose strategic and innovative ideas to aid in achieving client and team goals.
• Review deliverables through a scientific perspective to guarantee quality standards and meet client expectations.
• Ensure the timely provision of high-quality products and services to clients.
• Keep leadership updated on critical client and project developments and concerns.
• Stay informed about scientific advancements relevant to accounts, sharing information with the broader account team in a regular and timely manner, and with clients as appropriate.
• Advanced degree in the life sciences; PhD, MD, or PharmD.
• Over 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical communications agency.
• Proven experience leading publication-intensive accounts and comfort in reviewing content created by junior writers.
• Demonstrated understanding of product life cycles, competitive landscapes, and the role of publications in the client’s medical and commercial strategies.
• Experience in translating complex data into effective presentation formats.
• Strong grasp of clinical research and analysis.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to identify key issues and creatively and strategically navigate challenges.
• High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
• Ability to think analytically and to effectively plan, prioritize, and execute tasks.
• Expert-level verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient presentation skills across various formats and to diverse audiences.
• Ability to meet allocated deadlines and specifications.
• Understanding and application of best practices in publications and relevant compliance requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Microsoft PowerPoint, with the capability to create well-designed and effective presentations.
