This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Evaluate clinical trial protocols submitted by prospective clients and offer scientific insights to enhance proposal development and adhere to customer timelines.
• Create data collection methodologies informed by scientific research, regulatory standards, industry best practices, and considerations for patients and sites.
• Analyze project intricacies and provide scientific guidance for solution design and planning of service delivery.
• Generate and present scientific content for capability presentations, bid defenses, and meetings with clients.
• Collaborate with Sales teams during pre-sales activities to articulate the scientific advantages of Clario, a division of Thermo Fisher Scientific's offerings.
• Facilitate a smooth transition of projects from Sales to Client Services by supplying scientific context and guidance on proposals.
• Assist in training and enablement initiatives for Client Services teams regarding study design, scientific goals, and industry best practices.
• Engage in selected post-sales client meetings and provide ongoing scientific advice.
• Contribute scientific expertise and market insights to support product development projects.
• Participate in professional conferences, webinars, publications, abstracts, and white papers to enhance thought leadership and market presence.
• Stay updated on clinical trial regulations, scientific progress, industry trends, and new best practices.
• Work with internal and external scientific experts to support client deliverables and further research initiatives.
• Contribute to internal research programs and outreach efforts in the scientific community.
• Travel around 20% as necessary.
• A PhD in a scientific field is preferred; a Master’s degree may be accepted for exceptionally qualified candidates.
• 0–3 years of experience in clinical trial technology, life sciences, biopharmaceutical development, or a related sector.
• Background in supporting clinical trials and familiarity with the drug development process.
• Knowledge of electronic clinical outcome assessment (eCOA), clinical trial technologies, or similar digital health solutions.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the capability to engage scientific, clinical, and business stakeholders.
• Skill in transforming complex scientific ideas into customer-centric solutions.
• Proven business insight and experience in customer-facing roles within pre-sales, post-sales, or scientific consulting settings.
• Strong project management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and international environment.
