This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Supervise all members of the school operations team.
• Oversee the management of student records, local and state testing, attendance, truancy tracking and follow-up, as well as office and facilities management.
• Address and manage escalated issues for staff, students, and families related to school procedures, technology systems, and materials.
• Act as a liaison between school team members and the broader ACCEL team to identify operational needs and create aligned school-level procedures.
• Participate as a member of the school leadership team.
• Collaborate with school administrators to develop, document, and electronically archive operational procedures and workflows.
• Audit existing procedures to identify opportunities for streamlining and improvement.
• Remain updated on Department of Education and sponsor policies, compliance requirements, and state educational laws.
• Manage student information in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Coordinate communication with external vendors as necessary.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
• Support operations for a statewide, tuition-free K–12 online public school in Washington.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
• Strong skills in spreadsheets, including basic and intermediate formulas and functions.
• Previous experience in managing compliance with laws and regulations.
• Prior experience in creating and documenting procedures and workflows.
• Ability to responsibly handle confidential information and maintain confidentiality.
• A reliable, dependable, and trustworthy work ethic.
• Capability to manage challenging or emotional client situations.
• Ability to make sound judgments based on available information.
• A mature attitude and insight into issues affecting the department, self, and/or company welfare.
