Cash Operations Processor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Schedule and coordinate cash pickups with armored courier services.

• Balance and reconcile daily cash transactions, addressing any discrepancies that arise.

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding pickup schedules, cash handling procedures, and account inquiries.

• Foster relationships with courier partners and manage any service issues, delays, and exceptions.

• Assist in the implementation, onboarding, operation, training, troubleshooting, and logistics of smart safe technology.

• Oversee smart safe reporting and reconciliation, and identify variances as needed.

• Keep detailed records of cash transactions, pickups, and reconciliations in compliance with established controls and standards.

• Support back office banking functions with transaction postings.

• Report any irregularities, compliance issues, and process inefficiencies promptly.

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving cash operations processes.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to cannabis banking regulations, internal policies, and security protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in cash handling, cash operations, banking operations, or a related discipline.

• Strong skills in reconciliation and numerical accuracy, with the ability to handle high transaction volumes comfortably.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Excellent organizational skills, with the capability to manage multiple schedules, accounts, and deadlines concurrently.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

• High level of integrity and discretion is required.

• Must be able to pass necessary background checks in line with state cannabis banking and compliance regulations.

• Discretion in managing confidential customer and financial information is essential.

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team-oriented operations environment.
