School Data Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Analyzing and interpreting assessment data concerning individual student achievement and overall academic performance across grades K–12.

• Ensuring accurate and confidential maintenance of student achievement records and providing data analysis training for educators and administrators to enhance instruction and student learning outcomes.

• Assisting in data collection for mandated assessments, utilizing appropriate statistical methods, reviewing school and state data to identify trends and comparisons, and generating reports for both internal and external stakeholders as necessary.

• Acting as a member of the state testing team, facilitating in-person testing initiatives during all testing administrations throughout the academic year.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A valid Virginia Teaching license is required.

• Experience in working with data derived from various types of student assessments.

• Proven experience managing large data sets, including data analysis, interpretation, and presentation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Capability to pass the required background check.

• Ability to engage positively with teachers, administrators, and support staff; and to maintain a distraction-free professional home office during work hours, typically from 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school.

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, to convey technical information in an understandable manner to all stakeholders.
