Scheduling Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service to both patients and physician offices.

• Manage the scheduling and execution of diagnostic sleep testing procedures.

• Ensure a minimum of 20 patient appointments are scheduled daily, necessitating significant outbound phone engagement.

• Gather patient history and relevant clinical information ahead of appointments.

• Inform patients about the type of sleep tests prescribed, the registration process, and the study procedures.

• Confirm insurance coverage online before scheduling to guarantee compliant billing practices.

• Collaborate and communicate with the clinical team to ensure adequate staffing availability.

• Engage with physicians, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to address and resolve various issues.

• Provide weekly and monthly reports related to designated sites.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in customer service.

• Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

• High School diploma or GED is required.

• Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are preferred.

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is advantageous.

• Excellent multitasking abilities between various tasks and incoming calls.

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with a capacity to quickly learn new software.

• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Exceptional telephone communication skills, demonstrating enthusiasm and professionalism.

• This role requires working one weekend day and one evening shift each month.

• The remote work environment must ensure privacy, with secure password-protected internet access and no other concurrent responsibilities during scheduled work hours.
