This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.
β’ Support the scheduling and activities of the contact center.
β’ Respond to incoming calls to arrange appointments for both new and existing patients across all locations.
β’ Gather and record patient medical histories in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
β’ Offer comprehensive administrative and patient support services utilizing advanced virtual technologies.
β’ Provide timely and accurate information, scheduling, and assistance while ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
β’ Execute additional tasks as assigned and as needs change.
β’ High school diploma or equivalent is required.
β’ Healthcare-specific training is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ Must exhibit a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication abilities are essential.
β’ Compassion and a caring attitude toward patients are required.
β’ Self-motivated and detail-oriented individuals are sought.
β’ Capability to work independently is necessary.
β’ Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to US HIPAA laws and other relevant regulations is crucial.
β’ Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection.
β’ A quiet, private workspace is essential.
β’ Required work schedule: Monday through Friday, 11:00amβ7:15pm CST, with one Saturday per month from 6:45amβ12:45pm.
β’ Derick Dermatology will provide necessary work-from-home equipment, including a secure laptop, monitor, headset, and webcam.
β’ The equipment provided may vary based on job responsibilities.
