Scheduler/Planner – Data Center Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee integrated planning and scheduling support for extensive data center construction initiatives.

• Create, sustain, and enhance comprehensive schedules, milestone tracking, dependencies, resource assumptions, and reporting outputs.

• Utilize critical path method scheduling to evaluate schedule logic, identify trends, and communicate risks, impacts, mitigations, and recovery strategies.

• Collaborate with client teams, project stakeholders, delivery partners, and contractors to ensure alignment of planning outputs with project execution requirements.

• Manage multiple project schedules concurrently while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.

• Prepare concise schedule updates for project leadership and senior stakeholders, tailoring the level of detail according to the audience.

• This role may involve SOX control responsibilities that must be adhered to where applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of advanced planning and scheduling experience using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

• Proven experience in supporting design and construction project management for medium to large capital programs.

• Background in planning capital projects valued between $500MM to $2B+, ideally in data center construction or similar process-intensive sectors.

• Extensive knowledge of critical path method scheduling, schedule health analysis, and schedule risk identification.

• Capability to analyze EPC plans and schedules, recognize trends, and effectively communicate mitigation strategies.

• Proven ability to work independently, solve problems, and perform efficiently in a fast-paced project setting.

• Exceptional executive communication skills, including the ability to present detailed schedule data in succinct leadership-ready summaries.
