This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• Develop, oversee, and ensure the accuracy of client and Care Professional schedules.
• Pair Care Professionals with clients considering their availability, skills, client needs, and continuity of care.
• Handle around 60–80 inbound and outbound calls daily.
• Respond promptly to instances of sickness, cancellations, uncovered shifts, and last-minute scheduling modifications.
• Reach out to available Care Professionals to secure replacement coverage.
• Maintain contingency strategies to guarantee 100% coverage of scheduled service hours.
• Track, document, and refresh scheduling activities within the company’s software system.
• Address and resolve scheduling issues raised by clients, families, and Care Professionals.
• Keep accurate records for clients, employees, and services.
• Convey important operational updates and concerns to management.
• Foster professional relationships with clients, families, and Care Professionals.
• Comprehend client needs and identify suitable opportunities to retain or enhance service hours.
• Safeguard confidential information pertaining to clients and employees.
• Provide clear handovers and ensure that outstanding matters are resolved completely.
• Assist with evening and weekend scheduling needs as required.
• At least one year of relevant experience in scheduling, workforce coordination, staffing, operations, customer service, or a similar field.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English.
• Possess a confident, natural, and professional telephone demeanor.
• Comfortable operating in a high-volume calling environment (approximately 60-100 calls per shift).
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to make prompt, sound decisions and maintain composure under pressure.
• Exceptional attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general office systems.
• Capable of professional communication with clients, families, Care Professionals, and senior management.
• Willing to work hours that align with US business requirements.
• Reliable broadband connection and a professional home-working setup if the position is confirmed as remote.
• Experience in home-care, healthcare, or medical scheduling is highly advantageous.
• Experience in workforce management or shift planning is highly advantageous.
• Background in supporting US customers or businesses is highly advantageous.
• Experience in BPO, contact center, or high-volume customer service is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with scheduling, CRM, or workforce management software is highly advantageous.
