SCADA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Oversee application engineering initiatives for renewable energy technologies, offering essential insights and guidance.

• Spearhead the creation, setup, and upkeep of new HMIs and data model visualizations.

• Collaborate with the team to examine and manage data from renewable energy technologies, delivering valuable insights and recommendations.

• Play a vital role in engaging with clients to gather specifications for application configuration.

• Employ Python, SQL, and Excel to efficiently process and manage application configurations.

• Proactively identify networking or similar issues, informing technical stakeholders and suggesting potential solutions.

• Conduct thorough analysis, organization, and preparation of technical project documentation.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices through ongoing research and inquisitiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Application Engineering sector.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer engineering, information technology, or equivalent experience).

• Demonstrated experience in application engineering or a similar position.

• Experience with renewable energy data is advantageous.

• Comprehensive understanding of data storage and communication protocols.

• Skilled in data interface analysis and HMI configuration.
