This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate on design evaluations and oversee the project’s SCADA engineer, vendors, and third-party engineering firms.

• Create designs and prepare bills of materials for project cost estimation.

• Work with procurement to ensure design specifications, quantities, and equipment details are accurate.

• Liaise with construction teams and internal or external engineers of record to maintain safety, reliability, quality, and project compliance.

• Coordinate critical site-team milestones related to SCADA infrastructure.

• Align third-party vendors to guarantee SCADA systems are commissioned and functional in accordance with the project timeline.

• Oversee and integrate site-level SCADA design and commissioning processes.

• Manage and coordinate the efforts of third-party engineers and commissioning staff.

• Act as the primary contact for onsite commissioning, scheduling, and project SCADA coordination.

• Foster strong working relationships with SCADA integrators, engineers of record, design agencies, equipment suppliers, and onsite technicians.

• Ensure designs promote safe, reliable, and high-quality work practices.

• Confirm that projects adhere to NESC, NEC, NERC, FERC, and NFPA safety regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree in computer science or completion of an electrical technician program is preferred.

• A high school diploma and equivalent experience are mandatory.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in solar commissioning is required.

• At least 2 years of experience in SCADA commissioning and troubleshooting is essential.

• Ability to travel up to 50% is necessary.

• Experience with plant monitoring is required.

• Field commissioning experience is essential.

• Familiarity with Remote Operating Center (ROC) or plant operations is preferred.

• Knowledge of NESC, NEC, NERC, FERC, and NFPA safety standards is required.
