This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Meet the annual loan production goals while adhering to the Bank's risk tolerance for various categories; eligible products include SBA 7(a), SBA 504, USDA, and other conventional loans featuring government guarantees.
• Utilize the Line of Business (LOB) playbook and a consultative sales approach to develop a comprehensive customer profile, assess both short- and long-term financial needs, and cross-sell additional Bank products.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of products/services and propose suitable solutions aligned with our value proposition.
• Clearly communicate the benefits of securing financing through a technology-driven, industry-specific lender to physicians and referral partners.
• Engage with business clients and schedule regular financial reviews, including proactive outreach to your customer portfolio.
• Establish trusted partnerships with One Bank colleagues to facilitate customer referrals and deliver timely, holistic financial solutions, collaborating with governmental and community organizations to advocate for the Bank’s alternative lending products.
• Take part in the origination, closing, packaging, servicing, and if necessary, the liquidation of SBA loans in accordance with U.S. Small Business Administration SOPs and the Bank's policies and regulatory standards.
• Balance risk and return, assessed by any charge-offs leading to income loss within the initial 12 months; actively participate in credit and risk management policies and procedures, including servicing and liquidation requests as required.
• A Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, or a related business field, or four (4) years of equivalent experience.
• A minimum of five (5) years in commercial banking, or five (5) years in sales and underwriting experience.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. Small Business Administration loan programs and other federal, state, and municipal alternative lending solutions.
• Proven history of self-driven success in external sales/sourcing and establishing new sales relationships.
• Capability to analyze complex financial information to make informed credit decisions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent presentation and interpersonal abilities.
