This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Lead a high-achieving team of SBA closing officers focused on revenue performance.
• Guide borrowers throughout the loan process, from closing to funding.
• Implement strategies aimed at enhancing productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
• Develop and execute closing processes, tools, tracking methods, and procedural changes.
• Measure, monitor, and adjust performance based on efficiency metrics.
• Ensure that business strategies adhere to relevant policies, laws, and regulations.
• Manage production and efficiency while maintaining credit and service quality standards.
• Foster relationships with business partners to identify and implement productivity enhancements.
• Contribute to the development of strategies, policies, and practices.
• Recruit, coach, train, develop, retain, and promote team members.
• Provide timely, honest, and constructive feedback on performance.
• Build talent pools and support succession planning initiatives.
• Acknowledge and reward employee achievements.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience leading high-performing teams in a dynamic SBA lending environment.
• In-depth knowledge of SBA 7(a), 504, and Express loan programs.
• Ability to quickly adapt, guide teams through organizational changes, and establish scalable closing processes.
• Proficient in SBA SOP guidelines, equity injection verification, lien perfection including UCC and mortgages, third-party report reviews, and SBA Form 1919.
• Capability to manage teams towards processes and outcomes.
• Track record of exceeding sales targets and managing processes in evolving environments.
• Experience in recruiting top talent, promoting high performers, and engaging team members.
• Skilled in collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement programs and processes.
• Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities, including selling to decision-making levels.
• Experience in making data-driven choices while prioritizing deadlines.
• Proficient in Windows-based software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively with senior leaders in a team setting.
• Proven ability to motivate teams, work autonomously, manage multiple projects, thrive under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes.
• Previous experience in Sales, Finance, Commercial Real Estate, Practice Finance, or Construction project management is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM software is preferred.
