Satellite Imagery QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and assess remote sensing imagery to ensure quality assurance.

• Detect and rectify errors or discrepancies in imagery data.

• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to guarantee that data quality aligns with model specifications.

• Adhere to established protocols for image processing and validation.

• Record observations and clearly communicate any identified issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in a STEM field (e.g., Remote Sensing, GIS, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science). (must have)

• Experience in AI/ML data annotation or image labeling. (nice-to-have)

• Knowledge of GIS tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) or remote sensing applications. (nice-to-have)

• Understanding of SAR and hyperspectral imagery. (nice-to-have)

• Strong attention to detail – Capability to perform repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy.

• Technical expertise – Experience in remote sensing, GIS, or geospatial analysis.

• Excellent problem-solving skills – Ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
