SAP VIM Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to comprehend invoice processing needs and convert them into scalable technical solutions.

• Define comprehensive solution architecture, encompassing integration with SAP S/4HANA, OpenText VIM, and associated systems.

• Promote best practices in document processing, workflow automation, and exception handling.

• Oversee the configuration, customization, and enhancement of VIM systems.

• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and energy sector regulations.

• Provide technical direction and support to development and functional teams.

• Assist in testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Identify opportunities for performance optimization and guarantee system scalability.

• Engage in cutover planning, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with SAP VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) from OpenText.

• Strong background in SAP Finance (FI), particularly in Accounts Payable processes.

• Proven experience in environments utilizing SAP S/4HANA.

• In-depth understanding of the invoice lifecycle management and document processing.

• Experience in designing and implementing workflow solutions within SAP.

• Integration experience with SAP modules such as MM, FI, and external systems.

• Knowledge of OCR, document capture, and automation tools.

• Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 for enhancing user experience is a plus.

• Strong understanding of data structures, APIs, and integration patterns between systems.

• Prior experience collaborating with clients in the energy or utilities sector is highly preferred.

• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the energy industry.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

• Capability to translate business needs into technical architecture.

• Leadership experience in directing cross-functional teams.

• Problem-solving attitude with meticulous attention to detail.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
