SAP Security, GRC Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Ongoing surveillance of critical system access.

• Collaborate with functional, development, and technical teams to ensure requirements are comprehended and all pertinent details are captured for the development of application security solutions.

• Conduct regular health assessments to identify deviations from established procedures, role mapping, unauthorized system activities, and report findings.

• Ensure that modifications to roles and systems are tested, approved, and executed in accordance with regulatory and compliance standards.

• Assist in identifying risks and creating the Segregation of Duties (SOD) Matrix.

• Provide assistance to users facing security-related issues and support functional and technical teams in troubleshooting critical security role challenges.

• Facilitate program audit activities.

• Design and implement continuous monitoring controls.

• Manage solutions that enable user provisioning/de-provisioning, authentication/authorization, and reporting based on business requirements, industry best practices, and audit/regulatory standards, in collaboration with functional teams and business role owners.

• Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiencies by applying conceptual knowledge and technology to address complex business processes and procedural challenges.

• Address customer complaints and technical issues in partnership with the support team and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

• Perform hands-on technical configuration of security on SAP applications as needed.

• Assist in managing technical changes across the landscape, ensuring quality and compliance with control points.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in SAP Security projects with a minimum of 3 full cycle implementations.

• Proficient in SAP GRC Access Controls configuration and support.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training.

• Hands-on experience in SAP Security support and configuration.

• Understanding of SAP Authorization concepts within an enterprise environment.

• Technical skills in SAP security and GRC, covering major functional areas and Basis components.

• Experience in developing, administering, and monitoring the GRC ruleset.

• Skilled in analyzing SoD risks and reviewing users’ IDs/roles concerning SoD resolutions.

• Proficient in identifying and analyzing mitigating controls for SoD conflicts.

• Understanding of key business process risks.

• Familiarity with Information Security principles.
