SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Define, design, and enhance enterprise-wide SAP architectures that align business strategies with technology, enabling scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.

• Take ownership of the overall SAP landscape architecture, including integration patterns, cloud adoption, and hybrid scenarios, ensuring consistency and interoperability across systems.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, translating business objectives into actionable SAP roadmaps utilizing SAP S/4HANA and the broader SAP ecosystem.

• Architect robust, high-performance end-to-end solutions leveraging SAP S/4HANA for complex, multi-entity, and multi-process environments.

• Evaluate and introduce emerging capabilities such as AI, automation, analytics, and extensibility to enhance business value through SAP solutions.

• Establish and enforce enterprise architecture principles, standards, and best practices that align with SAP reference architectures and Westernacher methodologies.

• Define the usage of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for integration, extension, automation, analytics, and innovation across the enterprise landscape.

• Guide and influence cross-functional SAP teams, promoting architectural discipline, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in SAP architecture and solution design across domains such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Order-to-Cash, along with hands-on leadership in large-scale SAP transformation programs.

• Strong understanding of SAP Enterprise Architecture frameworks, RISE with SAP, SAP integration and extensibility concepts, and hybrid/cloud deployment models.

• Practical experience advising on and designing solutions using SAP BTP services, including application development, integration, automation, analytics, and AI.

• Exposure to SAP Portfolio: SAP Business Suite / S/4HANA, SAP Digital Supply Chain solutions, SAP Business Technology Platform.

• Familiarity with SAP’s enterprise transformation and integration toolchain, including Signavio, LeanIX, SAP Cloud ALM, and WalkMe.

• Strong strategic thinking, enterprise architecture mindset, and a proven ability to lead, influence, and effectively communicate with senior business and IT leaders.

• Excellent English communication skills, with confidence in presenting to and engaging with C-level and executive stakeholders.
