SAP Retail Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture and design of SAP solutions within Retail business operations, encompassing Sales, Inventory, Pricing, Customer Experience, and Fulfillment.

• Design scalable and robust integrations between SAP S/4HANA and external e-Commerce platforms.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to grasp strategic objectives and convert them into SAP solution designs.

• Ensure that SAP solutions accommodate high transaction volumes, facilitate real-time data exchange, and optimize performance for B2C operations.

• Establish and uphold architectural standards, integration patterns, and governance frameworks.

• Provide technical guidance during SAP implementations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.

• Partner closely with development teams to guarantee alignment with architectural vision and business needs.

• Keep abreast of SAP advancements, particularly in Retail and e-Commerce, and propose strategies for adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in SAP architecture roles, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to Retail and e-Commerce.

• Demonstrated expertise with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and various integrations.

• In-depth understanding of B2C retail processes, including order management, inventory visibility, customer data management, and digital storefronts.

• Experience in designing and executing high-volume integrations utilizing APIs, middleware (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI), and event-driven architectures.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and microservices architecture.
