SAP FICO Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of SAP FICO solutions.

• Establish end-to-end finance solution architecture within SAP S/4HANA.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business requirements into SAP solutions.

• Drive the design of FI/CO processes, including GL, AP, AR, AA, and Controlling.

• Ensure seamless integration across SAP modules (MM, SD, and others) and external systems.

• Guide improvements in finance processes, automation, and standardization.

• Support upgrades, migrations, and Brownfield transformations of SAP S/4HANA.

• Oversee testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

• Ensure adherence to financial and regulatory requirements.

• Provide technical leadership to both functional and development teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in SAP FICO, with a minimum of 3 full lifecycle implementations.

• Strong expertise in FI areas: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Banking.

• In-depth knowledge of CO, including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, and Overhead CO.

• Good grasp of COPA (Profitability Analysis).

• Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, particularly in Brownfield upgrades and migrations.

• Experience in designing end-to-end finance architecture.

• Strong integration experience with SAP modules such as MM, SD, and enterprise systems.

• Familiarity with SAP Fiori, Embedded Analytics, or SAC reporting is preferred.

• Exposure to Cash Management, Treasury, and Group Reporting is advantageous.

• Experience using SAP Migration Cockpit and LSMW.

• Strong understanding of financial compliance, taxation, and controls.

• Background in finance transformation and process optimization initiatives.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

• Capability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

• Leadership experience in cross-functional delivery environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field.

• SAP FICO / S/4HANA Finance certification is highly desirable.
