SAP Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Gather, organize, and manage data from both SAP and non-SAP sources; develop reusable analytics and data pipelines.

• Clean, validate, and preprocess both structured and unstructured datasets to guarantee high-quality inputs for analysis.

• Perform statistical and exploratory analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and business insights.

• Create predictive and prescriptive models utilizing SAP Analytics Cloud Predictive or external machine learning frameworks integrated with SAP data.

• Improve data collection processes to facilitate analytic system development.

• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and data visualizations to effectively communicate findings to business stakeholders.

• Assist in data reconciliation and KPI validation between source systems and analytical outputs.

• Work collaboratively with IT, business analysts, and leadership to implement data-driven solutions.

• Design and deliver AI/ML-based decision-making frameworks; evaluate and justify the value of models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or applied data modeling, preferably with SAP data.

• Proficient in Python or R, SQL, and data manipulation libraries.

• Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud Predictive, SAP BTP AI Core, or integrating SAP data with external machine learning platforms.

• Strong comprehension of data preparation and feature engineering for extensive ERP datasets.

• Robust statistical and machine-learning foundation with the capacity to explain models to non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
