This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Assist in the design and implementation of thorough data migration strategies, encompassing source-to-target mapping, transformation logic, data cleansing, and validation processes.
• Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) operations from legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA utilizing SAP migration tools and associated technologies.
• Work in collaboration with client stakeholders to collect migration requirements, facilitate workshops, and offer guidance on data migration methods and best practices.
• Perform data quality evaluations and engage in remediation activities to enhance the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the migrated data.
• Create and sustain migration-related documentation, which includes mapping specifications, conversion procedures, validation outcomes, and process workflows.
• Oversee migration activities throughout the project lifecycle, identify and resolve data-related challenges, and assist in defect management processes.
• Support mock conversions, testing phases, reconciliation efforts, and cutover planning to guarantee successful migration results.
• Offer guidance and knowledge transfer to project teams and client staff on data migration methodologies, governance, and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams to contribute to implementation milestones and the overall success of the program.
• Capability to obtain and sustain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
• 3–5 years of experience in supporting SAP implementations, upgrades, or data migration projects.
• Familiarity with SAP data migration and loading tools such as SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services), LTMC, LSMW, SAP Migration Cockpit, or equivalent technologies.
• Comprehension of the complete data migration lifecycle, which includes data profiling, cleansing, extraction, staging, transformation, loading, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Proficiency in SQL for advanced data extraction, reconciliation, transformation, and automation tasks.
• Understanding of data quality management principles and data cleansing techniques.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks, master data management concepts, and enterprise data stewardship principles.
• Experience in analyzing source-to-target mappings and converting business requirements into data migration specifications.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
