This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Collaborate with SAP BI teams and Data Product teams to examine SAP source data.
• Conduct an in-depth analysis of around 650 SAP raw tables within the project scope.
• Document data structures, interrelationships, business significance, and technical metadata.
• Identify issues related to data quality, inconsistencies, and technical risks.
• Suggest remediation strategies for data transformation and harmonization.
• Highlight technical concerns and propose enhancements to architecture and data design.
• Work alongside business stakeholders to confirm findings and resolve data-related issues.
• Generate functional and technical documentation that supports data engineering efforts.
• Offer guidance to Data Engineers tasked with developing the Silver data layer.
• Assist in governance, data lineage, and metadata management initiatives.
• Engage in technical workshops and architecture discussions.
• Ensure that scalable and maintainable data models are crafted in accordance with enterprise standards.
• Over 5 years of professional experience.
• Extensive experience with SAP raw tables and SAP data structures.
• Profound understanding of SAP ERP data models and table relationships.
• Experience in conducting large-scale data analysis and creating technical documentation.
• Strong SQL proficiency for data exploration and validation.
• Familiarity with enterprise data warehouse or lakehouse environments.
• Capability to analyze intricate datasets and independently identify issues and solutions.
• Experience collaborating with Data Engineers, BI teams, and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent skills in communication and documentation.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
• Nice to have: Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS).
• Nice to have: Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Nice to have: Understanding of Medallion Architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold).
• Nice to have: Experience in the pharmaceutical or other regulated industries.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with data governance and metadata management tools.
