SAP Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Finance team to gain insights into planning processes, business requirements, and specific use cases.

• Evaluate and interpret the current use case inventory, converting business needs into data and planning outputs.

• Assist in the transition of planning processes and models from Vena to SAP SAC Planning.

• Develop, verify, and refine data models, planning frameworks, reports, and input templates within SAP SAC.

• Conduct financial data analysis, reconciliations, validations, and ensure data quality checks are performed.

• Aid in the organization and integration of data from various sources.

• Produce tangible work products instead of solely functioning in an advisory role.

• Work in conjunction with business and technical stakeholders to confirm that solutions fulfill Finance needs.

• Record business rules, data flows, assumptions, and decisions made during the project.

• Assist with testing, user validation, troubleshooting, and adjustments post-implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within finance, planning, or data transformation initiatives.

• Practical experience with SAP Analytics Cloud — SAC Planning.

• Understanding of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, planning, or financial reporting processes.

• Capability to engage directly with business teams, particularly in Finance.

• Hands-on experience in data analysis, modeling, validation, and delivering data-driven solutions.

• High-level proficiency in Excel, including advanced data analysis techniques.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with both functional and technical stakeholders.

• A methodical, organized, and results-focused approach.

• Capacity to work remotely in an onshore model.
