SAP CPI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop the new SAP CPI iFlow (HTTPS inbound).

• Collaborate with the client PM to design the joint XSD.

• Implement SAP Gateway routing, error handling, dead-letter strategy, and CPI-to-SAP correlation IDs.

• Establish controlled file handoff via SFTP / Google Cloud Storage.

• Create the iFlow documentation and runbook.

• Assist in SIT testing to ensure Deep Insert atomicity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI / BTP Integration Suite).

• Direct implementation experience with OData V2 Deep Insert (CREATE_DEEP_ENTITY) is essential; candidates should be prepared to provide a live iFlow trace or code sample during the technical interview.

• Proficiency with the HTTPS inbound adapter, including payload validation and security policy.

• Experience in XML/XSD mapping within iFlow (Graphical Mapping or XSLT, schema validation node).

• Knowledge of SAP Gateway integration (OData service calls from CPI, OAuth2 or Basic authentication).

• Familiarity with error handling in CPI (dead-letter queue, exception subprocess, alert framework).

• Strong written English skills for creating interface contract documentation.

• Preferred: Experience with SFTP adapter for controlled file pickup; CPI monitoring (MPL log interpretation, correlation IDs, alerts); XSD schema design for collaborative authoring; CPI tenant administration; SAP S/4HANA connectivity (Cloud Connector or direct HTTPS); awareness of the SAP PM module.
