SAP Cloud Migration Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Manage complete SAP S/4 HANA migrations from on-premises to cloud platforms, guaranteeing a smooth and efficient transition.

• Formulate migration strategies, evaluate technical feasibility, and offer insights on best practices for adopting cloud technologies.

• Design the SAP S/4 HANA implementation architecture, encompassing data and systems, while aligning it with the organization's overarching business and technology strategy.

• Exhibit expertise in cloud architecture and implementation features such as multi-tenancy, orchestration, elastic scalability, serverless designs, networking, security, and financial observability.

• Utilize infrastructure migration methodologies and techniques to facilitate the transfer of data and workloads between on-premise and cloud-based distributed computing environments.

• Construct the SAP implementation architecture, ensuring coherence with the organization's overall business and technology framework.

• Leverage SAP cloud migration expertise across various sectors, customizing solutions to fit diverse business needs and processes.

• Have a profound understanding of SAP modules (PM, PP, MM, PS, CS, CO, SD, HCM, etc.) and related technologies to ensure smooth migration processes.

• Maintain a thorough knowledge of SAP S/4HANA functionalities and capabilities pertinent to cloud environments.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to guarantee the seamless integration of SAP modules and functionalities within cloud environments.

• Offer support for post-migration tasks, including assessing current processes, pinpointing areas for enhancement, and executing improvements.

• Partner with business units to maximize SAP applications in the cloud, aligning with industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Have over 6 years of hands-on experience in various SAP modules, demonstrating a successful track record of implementations and migrations.

• Proven experience of more than 2 years in participating in SAP migrations to cloud environments, showcasing a robust understanding of cloud platforms and technologies.

• Experience in any SAP S/4 HANA modules (PM, HCM, PP, PS, FI, CO, SD, IM, etc.).

• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP configurations, integrations, and associated technologies, focusing on successful migration outcomes.

• Experience with large enterprise-level systems and managing data at scale.

• Background in designing and implementing complex IT solutions, including scalable cloud-based solutions.

• Experience in several areas: architecture, cloud architecture, networking, security, storage, DevOps, containers, serverless computing, CI/CD, cloud migrations, and IT transformation.

• Proficiency in architecting cloud-native solutions or migrating on-premise solutions to the cloud, with the ability to understand and communicate common architectural patterns and design principles.

• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA functionalities and their relevance in cloud migration projects.

• Capability to develop and implement comprehensive migration plans, considering technical elements, timelines, and resource needs.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and addressing diverse requirements.

• Flexibility to work across various industries, grasping unique business processes and customizing migration strategies accordingly.

• English proficiency at B2+ level is required.

• SAP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
