SAP Business One, Acumatica Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive ERP implementation projects for clients utilizing SAP Business One and Acumatica.

• Create and manage thorough project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and deliverables.

• Conduct project kickoff sessions, status meetings, steering committee gatherings, and executive reviews.

• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, governance standards, and PMO protocols.

• Manage project scope, handle change requests, address dependencies, and resolve issues.

• Coordinate efforts among cross-functional teams, including consultants, developers, data migration experts, and client stakeholders.

• Monitor project health, budget expenditure, resource utilization, and risks associated with delivery.

• Act as the main client-facing project leader throughout the implementation process.

• Cultivate trusted relationships with executive sponsors and operational stakeholders.

• Convert business requirements into executable project plans and delivery milestones.

• Communicate project status, risks, escalations, and remediation strategies proactively.

• Ensure a favorable customer experience that emphasizes adoption, time-to-value, and long-term success.

• Promote consistency and quality in project documentation, status reporting, and implementation standards.

• Maintain precise project forecasting, financial tracking, and updates in CRM/PSA systems.

• Identify opportunities to enhance delivery processes, tools, templates, and customer onboarding experiences.

• Assist in resource planning and future staffing projections within the Professional Services organization.

• Take part in post-project evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Recognize delivery risks early and implement strategies for mitigation.

• Appropriately escalate critical project issues along with suggested action plans.

• Manage competing priorities while ensuring high customer satisfaction and delivery quality.

• Guarantee alignment between contracted scope, client expectations, and execution of delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP project management.

• Proven experience in managing implementations of SAP Business One, Acumatica, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems.

• Strong grasp of ERP implementation lifecycles, business process mapping, integrations, and change management.

• Demonstrated experience in managing project budgets, timelines, scope, and cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills at the executive level.

• Familiarity with project management and PSA tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Monday.com, Salesforce, or comparable platforms.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• PMP certification is required.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
